Acne forms when skin cells inside hair follicles shed too fast and clump or adhere to one another, plugging up the follicle and causing a pimple. CTRL® includes Salicylic Acid which clears debris from the surface of the skin and inside the pore. Here’s how it works:

• Antiseptic - provides oxidizing action that kills bacteria and fungi on the surface of the skin. This helps to destroy the bacteria that contribute to acne.
• Anti-keritanization - breaks up comedones, or black and whiteheads that form over clogged pores. This effectively helps to reduce the severity of existing blemishes.
• Exfoliant - stimulates the skin to shed the outermost, dead layers of skin cells. This keeps dead cells from plugging pores which can lead to additional blemishes. This exfoliant quality has the added benefit of making the skin look more youthful and vibrant.
